Terms & Conditions
Confidentiality
Any information recorded will be kept confidential at all times and only used for the purpose for which it was given. All information held about you will solely be for the purposes of your therapeutic sessions.
Your details will never be shared with external parties without your permission, unless where legal and moral obligation to disclose information to relevant authorities are required, such as:
- If you disclose your intention to hurt yourself or someone else.

- Where a court case or order have demanded disclosure.
During the initial consultation, a personal medical history will be taken in order to ascertain if a client has any medical conditions that may be contraindicated and to evaluate their suitability to undertake hypnotherapy.
In certain circumstances, with the client’s permission, it may be important to contact the GP or other health professional prior to commencement of therapy. If this is required, only information relevant for the intended purpose will be supplied.
To meet Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and Governing body requirements, anonymous case histories are sometimes discussed with peer support groups and supervisors. No personal details are shared.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation and rescheduling of a therapy session requires a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. If you do need to cancel an appointment, please notify us via telephone, text, or email as soon as possible. We will endeavour to make the full session available, although this will depend on subsequent client bookings. If your session must be cut short due to your late arrival the full fee will be applicable.
Commitment
Hypnotherapy is a therapy which relies on the commitment of both the client and therapist to achieve the optimum outcome. As the client, when you agree to undertake a course of hypnotherapy you agree to fully engage with the process both during sessions and also tasks that you are asked to undertake between sessions. You also commit to attending scheduled appointments as your attendance shows your commitment to achieving your therapeutic goals.
